FAQ

Can I continue my campaign from the original game?

Each major expansion is like a new game. The new mechanics alter the internal structure of the game world, adding new logic, extra data, and more. As a result, the expansion is not compatible with previous versions of the game, so you will need to start a new campaign. However, the quality of the new gameplay experience makes it well worth it.

Will my old campaigns be deleted?

No, they will be safe. You can disable the expansion at any time and continue your old campaigns in previous versions of the game. Here is how to do it:

Will the expansion come to consoles?

Although we haven’t officially announced it yet, yes – the expansion will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It won’t be coming to other consoles due to hardware limitations.

The release date is still unknown, but we aim to release the DLC this year (2026).

Do I need to buy previous expansions to play the new one?

Yes – each new expansion builds upon the last. Therefore, the new gameplay experience is only accessible if you own the base game and all previous expansions.

However, we run discounts on the DLC from time to time. You can also get an extra discount by taking advantage of the option to complete your collection with this bundle.

What are your plans next?

In the near future, we will be reading the forums and our Discord server to gather feedback. If any issues are reported, we will address them. We want to make sure this expansion brings joy to you, our players.

Further down the line, we would love to get back to working on FTG2.

My game crashes / I noticed a bug. How do I report it to you?

• Find the configuration utility: STEAM FOLDER\steamapps\common\Football Tactics\config.exe
• Click Troubleshooting
• Click Generate report
• Email the resulting file to me at kos @ creoteam . com (remove the spaces). If your email client won’t send a large attachment, please use Google Drive.
• Please describe the issue in your email. If possible, attach a screenshot as well.

I am playing on a laptop, and my game crashes during matches.

Our game’s system requirements state that you need a dedicated graphics card like Nvidia to run it.

Even if players have such a card on their laptop, Windows for some reason tries to launch our game using the integrated graphics card. However, the game does not support integrated graphics cards. Therefore, we recommend changing your Windows settings to specify which graphics card should be used when launching the game.
